The Olympia Peace Choir is growing and changing!
Our founder and Artistic Director of 16 years, Kerri Lynn Nichols, is moving on to new adventures. We are thrilled to announce that Matthew Melendez is joining us as our new Artistic Director.
We are learning to embrace change while remaining true to our mission. We invite you to join us as we embark on our 17th season, starting in August 2026.

We sing music from diverse cultures and traditions and are dedicated to practicing the principles of equality, peace, respect, and cooperation.
Our motto is “Quality Through Inclusion.” There are no auditions to become a member. We accept people from all backgrounds, and with all levels of musical ability. We believe that one of the keys to a great choir performance is the relationship we have with each other. Our rehearsals are a nice balance of fun and hard work. Each rehearsal and performance leaves us feeling energized, hopeful, and connected.
